Ashley Ferrari

I am a self-taught painter who works in oils. I create ethereal dreamscapes. Through my work I aim to allow the viewer a moment of escapism in which to feel soothed and energised.

Painting is my respite from navigating this world as a neurodivergent woman, and through it I reclaim myself and reconnect to the earth and to the sky.

Four Miniatures
Four small paintings, all featuring a full moon shining through mist, over calm but rippling water. Each painting uses different colours; lilac-grey, ultramarine, and emerald, with highlight of warm pinks and yellows in each. 

Awakening
A semi abstract painting that is light in the centre and fading to black at the edges. Soft but energetic clouds swirl in the purple-grey sky. The water is calm and flat, but it’s surface is alive with many small waves and ripples. They are highlighted with the warm light of the clouds.
