Nicole Murmann

Nicole studied Visual Art in Switzerland and Performance Art in Leeds (UK). Their practice use several media such as performance, drawings, videos, sound, sculptures and writing. They work as an artist individually and collaboratively on projects or in collectives (DISrupt Collective and Queerology collective in Leeds, UK).

Nicole practice work deals with identity and language. through the impact of various writings and through their everyday. Their domains of research are in inclusive-feminism, queer politics, the limits of the body, collecting opinions, stories, and sharing conversations. Experiencing vulnerability and exposing them self is also a part of their practice.

Inner Child, 2021
In a Park, full of trees, on a sunny day, there is a felt hand-made children hut in green, red, yellow and blue. Written in capitals, on the top of the hut, in red: Inner and blue: Inner Child. Next to the hut a children plastic table and two chairs, a yellow napkin, coloured plastic glasses, a bottle of raspberry syrup, a red note book, crayons and a blue bag.

Ça ira mieux demain, (It will be better tomorrow), 2021

Time Lies, 2021
A black and white picture of a river in the wood, there are some big stones in the river and at the back you can see a wall. On the top of the wall, there are a series of houses and chimneys. A lot of trees without leaves are around the river. In yellow Capitals there is a text on the top of the picture who said: THE PAST BECOME NOSTALGIA.
